The Call for Presentation Proposals is now closed.
This year’s presentations should highlight how we are re-imagining what successful schools look like through our green school partnerships and initiatives. We are looking for presentations that are engaging and practical. Sessions are 45 minutes and can be done in the following formats:
- Panel Discussion
- Hands-on workshop
Share your expertise, best practices, program or other aligned to one of the following categories:
Community Partnerships is geared to learning about Green School projects that demonstrate strong collaboration between the school community and specific community partners.
Greening Our Facilities is geared to sharing best practices and lessons learned regarding facilities management and design.
Stewardship Programs & Practices is geared toward learning about projects and partnerships that promote energy and water conservation; waste stream reduction; green fundraising; and/or transportation initiatives to reduce emissions and benefit air quality.
Student Engagement is geared toward learning about programs/projects/partnerships that promote student involvement and/or leadership.
Greening Our Curriculum is geared to learning about programs and partnerships that help to organize curriculum around environmental themes, concepts and projects while meeting academic standards.
Health and Wellbeing is geared to learning about programs and partnerships that promote/model healthy living habits for learners including healthy eating, gardening and a physically active lifestyle.
